Birthday cakes are an important part of any birthday, more so for kids, but also a symbolic part of an adults birthday.  It is the cake that you adourn with candles, a candle for every year you have lived, a celebration of your life thus far.  For a kid, it’s the whole pacakage.  The love of the dancing flames on the candles.  The funny or cool racing car cake, or perhaps, a barbie cake.  The sweet taste of brithday cake in your mouth after you’ve made your birthday wish.  All of this would be lost if there was no birthday cake.  A poor birthday cake wont ruin a birthday but a great cake will make a birthday an even more special day.
